Learning Objectives
Create Measurable Learning Objectives Workshop:
This workshop reviews educational theories and best practices for
constructing course- and module-level objectives. Participants will
apply these concepts to developing and/or reviewing their own course
objectives and will learn how objectives are aligned with course
components. The content is based on Standard 2 of the Quality
Matters Rubric that states: Learning objectives are clearly stated
and explained. They assist students in focusing their efforts in the
course. It is intended for a broad audience, including but not
limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and
adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about creating
measuring learning objectives. Specific Workshop Information
1.
Option A:
Face-to-face, 4 hours, up to 20 participants, $1,200 for
subscribers/$1,500 for non QM-subscribers plus facilitator travel
expenses, no pre-requisite requirements, participant materials
provided by QM.
2.
Option B: Online,
two weeks, facilitated, $150 per person for subscribers/$200 per
person for non-subscribers, no pre-requisite requirements.
3.
Option C:
Face-to-face provided via Elluminate connection, (up to 30) physical
connections, $1,200 for subscribers/$1,500 for non-subscribers, no
pre-requisite requirements, participant materials provided by QM.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This option can be broken into several segments,
e.g., two sessions of 2 hours each, etc. There are no additional
fees for this option.
