Addressing Accessibility
(Standard 8) This recent workshop is appropriate for those faculty and instructional designers who wish to explore accessibility topics for their online and hybrid courses. You will learn about accessibility legislation and accommodation tools and techniques.
Building Your Hybrid Course to Quality Matters Standards
This new workshop focuses on the specific challenges of
implementing the QM standards in a hybrid or blended
format. You
will explore which activities are best accomplished in
the classroom and which ones may be more effective
online, and how best to manage the relationship between
the two.
This workshop is appropriate for faculty and
instructional designers who currently work in a hybrid
or blended environment, or are considering the implementation of
hybrid or blended courses in the future.
Learning Objectives and Resources
(General Standards 2&3)
In this new workshop, participants will review their
course learning objectives to verify that they are
measurable and specific and evaluate their assessments
to determine if they actually measure their stated
learning objectives.
This alignment process will expose any
inconsistencies among course elements and strengthen the
course by ensuring that the critical components --
learning objectives and assessments – work together to
help your students learn.
Recommended for faculty and instructional
designers.
