QM is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online course design and online components. The QM Rubric is used in course reviews that result in continuous improvement and faculty development.
Quality assurance in K-12 online education matters to faculty, to students, to institutions, and parents committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The K-12 Program is based on research-supported and published best practices.
Developed in collaboration with the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), The CPE Rubric guides the design and review of online and blended courses in non-credit continuing and professional education courses and MOOCs. Corporate training, lifelong learning, and competency-based courses benefit from the QM CPE Rubric Standards.
Quality Matters has designed two national studies to capture the student voice on QM's impact on students and is providing free or significantly discounted opportunities for participation by subscribing institutions. These are the first national, inter-institutional research projects conducted by QM.
