QM is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online course design and online components. The QM Rubric is used in course reviews that result in continuous improvement and faculty development.
Quality assurance in K-12 online education matters to faculty, to students, to institutions, and parents committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The K-12 Program is based on research-supported and published best practices.
Developed in collaboration with the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), The CPE Rubric guides the design and review of online and blended courses in non-credit continuing and professional education courses. Corporate training and lifelong learning courses benefit from the QM CPE Rubric Standards.
The Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR) workshop is QM's flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses. It is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM Rubric and process of course review.
The APPQMR is the prerequisite for the Peer Reviewer Course, which is the required course to become a QM Peer Reviewer.
