What should I know about attending the 2022 QM Connect Conference?

Who should attend?

If you are committed to quality assurance in higher education, K-12, educational publishing or continuing and professional education, there will be content for you.

  • Institutional Leaders (President, Chancellor, Provost, Vice President, Principal, Superintendent, etc.)
  • Program Administrators (Dean, Director, Manager, Coordinator, Assistant Principal, etc.)
  • Faculty (Course Instructor, Adjunct, Facilitator, etc.)
  • Instructional Support Staff (Instructional Designer, Instructional Technologist, etc.)

When are the pre-conference workshops?

Pre-conference workshops are Sunday, November 6. Full-day workshops will run 8 AM - 5 PM. Half-day workshops will run 8 AM - noon and 1 PM - 5 PM. Breakfast and lunch are included for those attending a full-day or two half-day workshops. See pricing >>

Who should register for the Newcomer's Breakfast?

The Newcomer's breakfast is for those who are new to Quality Matters. There is no charge for this event, but you do need to register.

When does the conference begin and end?

The conference will begin with pre-conference workshops (separate fee) on Sunday, November 6, followed by a reception that evening (nominal fee), from 6 PM - 7:30 PM. Sessions will begin Monday morning, November 7 and run through noon, Wednesday, November 9.

What does the conference registration fee cover?

The registration fee includes all sessions Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It also covers breakfast, lunch and breaks Monday and Tuesday as well as breakfast and a break on Wednesday. The Sunday evening reception is optional for an additional $25 fee (selected during registration). Registration does not cover dinners. See pricing and how to get the best rate >>

Where are we staying for the conference?

The conference is being held at the Loews Ventana Canyon, Tucson, AZ. Rooms are $189 plus tax per night. Please use our reservation link to make your room reservation.

  1. Avoid “room block pirates” looking to take advantage of you if you book your room through some other method.

How do I get from TUS airport to the Loews Ventana Canyon?

Tucson International Airport is located 18 miles from Loews Ventana Canyon and is a 30-35 minute transfer.  Guests can take a taxi at approximately $55 each way.  Uber and Lyft are also very popular and run about $40 each way.

The hotel offers both self and valet parking.
