According to the Numbers, Templates are Good for You: How Data Promotion Contributed to a University-Wide Template in Over 4,900 Courses and Counting … 

If you’re attending this conference, chances are you (1) have an all-time favorite course template; (2) use templates in your daily work; and (3) encourage faculty to consider a course template for consistency, efficiency, and student success. Still, for a variety of reasons (e.g., awareness, time, training, technical support, autonomy), featuring a common, university-wide template across courses may be a challenging and elusive goal.

In this session, I will review key data points, communication strategies, and technical resources used to promote a university template in over 4,900 courses.
