This two-hour webinar will help your team navigate a pathway toward quality online learning. We’ll cover foundational best practices for online design and executing your design with active online teaching while teasing out the substantive, impactful differences between face-to-face and online learning. We'll also focus on ways to elevate interaction, presence, and student engagement in the online classroom and touch on online-specific considerations, such as digital accessibility and technology. Gather your group of 10+ participants for this presentation that can be scheduled as a stand-alone webinar or as part of the New to Online Teaching package.

Learning Objectives
  • Great for faculty and instructors who are new to online learning and want to know best practices for designing quality online courses.
  • Provides experienced online instructors with new ideas. 
  • Connection of research-based best practices to QM Standards and helps orient faculty to the QM Rubric, which they can use to evaluate and improve their course design.
What Participants Need

Participants will need a laptop or computer with a camera and microphone (headset preferred). 

A commitment of 2 hours to attend the webinar.

Synchronous Session Info

Participants will receive a "Welcome" email seven days prior to the start of the webinar with information on accessing the session and a "Webinar Begins" email the day of the session that includes the URL to access the webinar.
