Foundations of Quality Assurance Leadership
This workshop will help participants understand their leadership identity and role within institutional structures, while exploring how to create meaningful change through quality assurance, accessibility, and sustainability. Participants will examine systemic challenges in digital education and begin scoping an institutional initiative aligned to their goals and context.
• Professionals seeking to strengthen critical competencies in QA leadership in digital learning, especially those in instructional design roles.
- Define your leadership identity and assess your professional influence within your institution.
- Analyze leadership and systems thinking frameworks to conduct a SWOT analysis of your organization’s culture and structure.
- Apply key industry standards (QM, WCAG 3.0, UDL) to guide quality, accessibility, and inclusive design in digital education.
- Navigate leadership and stakeholder resistance, including role ambiguity, credibility gaps, political constraints, and subtle institutional biases that may hinder inclusive change efforts.
- Propose a personal leadership initiative with long-term potential to be further developed in an applied, practice-based format during the Leadership Lab.
Ability to read and write standard business English.

This workshop is currently available as part of the QM Leadership Bootcamp Package only. The workshop begins August 18, 2025 and participants will have until September 14, 2025 to complete their work before the session closes.
