QM Leadership Bootcamp Capstone: The Excellence Initiative
The QM Excellence Initiative is a comprehensive six-month capstone experience designed for participants in the Quality Matters Leadership Bootcamp who are committed to implementing QM standards at their institutions. This structured program guides participants through a complete quality improvement project cycle, from identifying challenges to measuring outcomes.
This capstone will help participants implement a comprehensive quality assurance initiative that demonstrates strategic leadership, institutional alignment, and a strong return on learning investment. Participants will move from planning to execution, collecting data and reflecting on outcomes along the way.
• Professionals seeking to enhance their QA leadership capabilities in digital learning, especially Instructional Designers.
- Developing and executing a structured quality improvement project
- Applying QM standards in tandem with accessibility, UDL, and institutional priorities
- Navigating checkpoints (“quality gates”) to track impact and ensure continuous improvement
- Documenting outcomes and preparing a final summary for internal or external stakeholders
Ability to read and write standard business English.
- Computer with internet access.
- Focused time to complete the work.
The capstone is currently available as part of the QM Leadership Bootcamp Package only. It begins August 18, 2025 and participants will have until February 6, 2026 to complete their work before the session closes.
