Everyone has different reasons for using QM. Whether you want to design quality courses, have QM conduct Official Reviews of your courses, empower your organization to create a culture of quality assurance, or conduct joint course reviews with other organizations, we can help.

Depending on your organization’s objectives — and the type of online learning you’re involved in — there are certain Memberships that will serve your needs better than others. This is why it’s important to consider the size of your organization, the number of online courses you offer — along with which ones you might want to get certified — your preferred level of autonomy, and your quality assurance goals.

Accessing fully annotated QM Rubrics and review tools begins by activating your membership. But it doesn’t end there. We make continuous improvement easy with professional development options, a variety of unique resources, and a community of QM experts.

Before Signing Up

  1. Watch the QM overview video
  2. Understand how QM Rubrics are used to evaluate quality
  3. Review tips for implementing QM
  4. Consider who will use the membership and how to share information with them
  5. See which membership matches up with your QA goals
  6. Choose your QM coordinator(s) and have their contact information ready
  7. If forming a system or consortium, make a list of those that may want to join
  8. Get your questions answered with the “Get More Information” form on this page

Select the Right Membership

Ready to explore your options? Here are some helpful hints. If you’re new to QM and quality assurance, you might want to consider a Basic Membership (either Higher Ed or K-12). But if you’re ready to participate in an inter-institutional review process leading to QM-Certified courses, and champion the creation of a quality assurance culture at your organization (or for a group), then the Full, Consortium, or System options are worth considering.

For non-credit online learning and training, the Continuing & Professional Ed Membership is the way to go. On the flip side, if you develop courses for other organizations, you’ll want to check out our Membership options for Publishers and Service Providers.
